学习外语的十条经验
卡扎•罗姆布是匈牙利著名女翻译家,通过多年摸索和学习,她通晓英,俄,法, 汉,日,西,意,波等十多种语言,堪称外语奇才。为了回答雪片一般飞来的函询,她把自己的丰富经验概括为简明易懂的十条,对于每个外语学习者都有普遍意义。
1.坚持每天学习,哪怕挤出10分钟也可以,早晨则是大好时机。根据人的记忆特点,在学习总时间相同的条件下,多次短期强化的效果要胜一次长期学习。如每隔3天记30分钟单词,不如每天记10 分钟来得巩固。早晨,人刚起床,脑子里还未涌入杂乱的信息,学习时没有"前摄抑制"。同样,如在晚上临睡前学习,由于其后没有信息输入的干扰,即无"后摄抑制;,效果也较好。
2.学厌了可变换一下学习方式或形式。经常使用一种方式容易使人感到单调,乏味,甚至疲倦,即使毅力坚强者也不无例外。倘若经常变换一下学习方式,改变阅读为朗读,变书写为对话,变听磁带为看电视等,可使学习者在新鲜感中吸取知识。
3.不要脱离上下文孤立地死记硬背。对于青少年来说,其机械性记忆力较强；对于成年人而言,其理解性记忆力较强。只有理解了的东西,才能更深地感觉它,乃至记住它。联系上下文,正是强化理解性记忆的有效方法。
4.随时记下并背熟那此常用的句型。学习外语不要胡子眉毛一把抓,而要抓住牛鼻子-----主要矛盾。从外语的结构来看,掌握常用句型十分关键。句型中既有单词,又有语法,既有句法,又有习惯。所以,《英语900句》之类并未过时。
5.尽可能"心译"接触到的东西,如一闪而过的广告,偶尔听到的话语等。"心译"接触的事物,有利于扩大知识面,提高快速反应能力便能迅速地从脑库中提取单词,语法,句法,发现不足立即补充。
6.只有经过老师修改的东西才值得牢记,也就是说,要记那些肯定是正确无误的东西。学习外语,不但要通过正面教材掌握正确的东西,还要通过"反面教材"学会避免错误的东西。所以,除了认真学习老师修改的东西了解自己的错误外,多看一些《中国人学英语常见错误》之类的书籍也很有必要。
7.抄录和记忆句型和习惯用语时,要用单数第一人称。学习外语最终是为了用,进一步说,是为我所用。而为我所用,当然要用单数第一人称了。否则,当你和外国人交流（笔谈）时,频频出现第二人称或第三人称,岂不怪哉？
8.外语好比碉堡,必须同时从四面八方围攻：读报,听广播,看外语电影,听外语讲座,攻读课本等。
9.要敢于说外语,不要怕出错误,要请别人纠正。不要怕难为情,更不要泄气。
10.要坚信自己一定能达到目的,坚信自己有坚强的毅力和学好外语的才能。
suburb和suburbs的区别 outskirt和outskirts的区别
通常说suburb的话是专指某一个地方的郊区.例如a suburb of London就是伦敦郊区的意思咯.
而说suburbs的时候是一个比较大的范围.没有特定的.例如They live in the suburbs.就是说他们住在城外.
其实只用outskirts就可以了 一般来说都是复数形式出现.
