秦国，历史上有很多秦国，不过我们一般说的都是春秋战国时期的秦国。这个时期从周孝王时，秦先祖秦非子因养马有功被周王封为附庸开始算起；也可以从公元前770年，秦襄公派兵护送周平王东迁，被封为诸侯开始算起。秦国是西周诸多诸侯之一。
秦朝和秦代都是一个意思。古代早期，“朝”和“代”是严格区分的，“朝”指的是一代天子，“代”则指的是整个王朝。比如说，我们可以说“清代”，但不应该说“清朝”，只能说“康熙朝”“雍正朝”。不过大部分时间，尤其是现代，这个都是混用的，不加区分的。
所以我们今天秦朝和秦代都不加区分了。都指的是从公元前221年秦始皇统一全国到公元前207年，秦朝统治全国这个时期。
秦国和秦朝有什么区别
秦国是秦朝的前身，本来是春秋战国时期的一个诸侯国。秦人是华夏族的一支，传说周武王因秦的祖先善养马，因此将他们封在秦。前770年，秦襄公护送周平王东迁有功，被封为诸侯，秦始建国。 秦国存在的历史包括了春秋时期的诸侯国时期,与统一中国后的秦朝时期.
秦朝则是中国中国第一个统一的专制主义中央集权朝代,它是个朝代.由始皇赢政一手创立。
诸侯国秦国自公元前230年至前221年，先后灭韩、魏、楚、燕、赵、齐六国，终于建立了中国历史上第一个统一的、多民族的、专制主义中央集权制国家--秦朝。
